Beckett Internet Version #02

O Espectador de Olhos Invisíveis – Beckett Internet 2 Version, will premiere on December 3rd on the social networks of Cia. Corpos Nômades and in the following weeks on the networks of Teatros João Caetano and Arthur Azevedo – SP.

For this second internet version, the work will continue to involve the suffocation session of big cities, by real estate speculation and by the bad use/distribution of the land. Samuel Beckett’s text “The Despovoador” (written in the late sixties) serves as an important inspiration/provocation for the creation and aligned different textures and sensations to the other fundamental inspiration sources, added to the thoughts of Deleuze and Guattari on Capitalism and Schizophrenia gave, in a more emphatic, strange and disturbing way, the final tones of the dramaturgy to the choreographies, which added to the stimuli of the occupation of spaces at Teatro João Caetano-SP, from the outdoor area to the stage and with the sound and musical interaction of bassist Alexandre Rosa , emerging from these junctions the so-called “choreodramaturgraphies*” (*term to designate the junctions: vocal and body movements, texts, projections, soundtrack, scenic elements with choreographies), which today, due to the long Pandemic moment, we call “cinecoreodramaturgraphy”.
The first version: “The Invisible Eyes of Meat Speculator – Internet Version 01”, was presented in May 2021. This work by the company, directed by choreographer and dancer João Andreazzi rescues the principle of the idea of ​​the “nomadic body”, artistic restlessness of Andreazzi, following up on a research that began 22 years ago, whose place/focus was the extinct favela of Gato (today’s Parque do Gato housing complex) and Guarani Culture (Villages: Krukutu and Jaraguá). Places that were revisited in 2014 and 2015 in order to observe the changes that took place in these places.
This project was carried out with the support of the AWARD for performance history in Dance, through the Proac LAB Expresso 48-B 2020.
