OOZE/EZOO (2000)
The text “Pioravante Marche” by Samuel Beckett is one of the inspirations for the choreography and the rap (rhythm and poetry). Elements of Hip-Hop culture (dj, b.boy, rapper and graffiti artist) are incorporated in order to contextualize situations.
“OOZE/EZOO” works with references that arise in the transit between reality and virtuality, between stability and instability. The changes that occur to the body in its interaction with the environment that surrounds it, one interfering with the other. We seek to let the body senses flow and the approaches of the movement in the theatrical space move.
We expose the body and the relation space/time is expanded with the aid of the video. The bodily experience of the show seeks to “portray” the actual experience of mankind; what it can feed gaze, perception, and thinking and enrich knowledge and dance itself.
